John Chapman Ballard (c. 1772 – c. 1856)

John Chapman Ballard was born May 1772 in Orange Co., Virginia. He married Chloe Flynn (aka. Flinn) about 1799 at Greenbrier Co., Virginia. John was also known as “Pedler John”.

Their children were, Chapman, St. Clair, Medley, Rhodes Dohoney, Polly, John F., Nancy Ann, Thomas, Frances and Boone.
